Johnny loves south Louisiana, loves the people, the food, and the diversity of cultures. He loves LSU and is a huge football fan. He voted for Bobby Jindal and Kip Holden. “I love everything about our great city and state, - except the humidity, but it still beats six months of the harsh northern winters I endured before I moved here” he says. He is a proud husband, father and grandfather, and he’s also proud to tell you that “I am a Reagan Conservative, an Under Grace Christian Republican who loves America dearly and the founding principles that has made her the greatest democracy on the face of this earth”. He is a capitalist who knows that this concept is the only philosophy which can keep us free and maintain us as the greatest power on earth.
 Johnny says, "I’m originally from Bayonne, New Jersey, and I would often come to Baton Rouge to visit my two sisters and brother who had migrated south over the past thirty five years. My brother Bobby finally convinced me that the quality of life would be better here in the south”. Bobby owns a local pipe valve and fittings business, Louisiana Chemical PVF, while his sister Barbara and her husband Tom were in the restaurant business. They owned Mortorano’s and had two locations. His sister Joyce married a local fellow, Andre Seghers, and they have an electrical company, Andres Electric. His nephew, Louis DeAngelo Jr., owner of the very successful DeAngelo’s restaurants, followed the family here and later, his brother Lou Sr., a popular local Artist and his wife Gail and their two other children, Tim and Daniel, followed here also. Tim is a top Real Estate agent with CJ Brown. “We are all here raising our children and participating in the south Louisiana Lifestyle. Louisiana, and more specifically Baton Rouge, has been a tremendous blessing to my entire family and all of us are giving back and contributing to the community in our own unique ways. "We love the People of south Louisiana and will continue to be a contributing family here in Baton Rouge”, Johnny says. |
