The Comeaux's main focus is strictly on the gentleman veteran's, without any women residents at the facility they are able to tend to the very specific needs of proud men. These exceptional guardian angels are truly making a difference in families lives.

Mr. Byron Comeaux understands better than anyone else the special needs of Veterans because he himself is a Veteran with twenty years’ service. After serving in the United States Military with honor Mr. Byron has a special understanding, compassion and connection to the elderly Veteran residents he cares for and works with at the Magnolia Care Center.

The Magnolia Care Center is the only private Veteran’s Home in the State of Louisiana. The facility itself is a beautifully renovated building that stands on five acres of land, the facility can currently accommodate up to ten residents while plans are being made to accommodate twenty six total residents. The gentlemen who live at Magnolia enjoy a very nice quality of life. Residents and families alike agree that these special fellow’s lives at the Center are as close as possible to their lives at home. Everything is done with the resident in mind, the facility is kept immaculately clean for the comfort and health of the residents and the staff ensures that all aspects of day to day living is happy and pleasurable. Striving to ensure the very highest quality of living for their residents, Magnolia offers private single as well as double occupancy rooms and all have TV and internet services provided as well. All meals are prepared daily and snacks are always readily available, the laundry is done as well as their beds are made and everything else you can think of is taken care of for the residents, they enjoy all types of activities like shopping, outings, all the senior functions and religious services in whatever religious denomination. The residents enjoy total freedom, they can come and go and leave the facility to visit overnight with their families and do whatever else they would like to do. It’s all about quality of life for those residents that decide to stay at Magnolia Care.

Magnolia Care Center Inc., Residential Personal Care Facility's and Adult Day Care Center's goal is to help residents achieve the best quality of life possible. Understandably, most residents prefer to stay in the familiar comfort of their own homes. Magnolia Resident Care is a private care facility where the residents live as if they were in their home. The Center will provide 24-hour personal care service for the residents that have: Alzheimer's, Arthritis, Bipolar Disorder, Blindness, Strokes, Parkinson's, Quadriplegia, Multiple Sclerosis, Head Injury, Spinal Injury, Cerebral Palsy, Dementia, Hypertension, MR-Mild, MR-Profound, & MR-Moderate. Residents must be under the care of a Medical Doctor or a nurse practitioner for pre-admission.
